It is made of heavy duty plastic with velcro to secure it to your rod. It takes about 5 seconds to put on or take off. This is way to cut down on the chance of injury from hooks as well as make your life easier on the boat. When using this you can have multiple rods right next to each other and they will never tangle. This alone will save me valuable time. This is a great idea for an fisherman.

I have been a big fan of there 8 inch Spindoctors for along time but this year I became a true believer. We put more and bigger fish in my boat this year because of the new chrome series Spindoctors. Day in and day out for months on end we hammered them on the Spindoctor/fly combo. This is a must have for all serious salmon and trout fisherman.
